At Collective Liberation Church, justice is not separate from faith — it is a component of it. Standing together for the liberation of all, and against systems that prevent that liberation from being realized, is understood as a practice of faith. In addition to spiritual care, we work towards systemic change.
Liberation represents a society where everyone can thrive, not just survive — a world without fear, violence, and oppression, and where people can exist in peace with the resources and autonomy needed to live free. The work we do today moves us toward that tomorrow.
On the second weekend of every month, we host a community service event aimed at breaking down the barriers between those serving and those being served. We are there to be human with humans and to genuinely care. On Friday, we make preparations, and on Saturday, we deliver to Spratt St. and engage with the local community.
